Our chicks...

On April 22d we put 30 eggs at 16 pm in the incubator.

The temperature was 38C, humidity - 55%. Incubator is Korean-made. It has automatic egg turning but my mom prefers to rotate them manually every 3 hours.

Since 11th day temperature is 37,5 C, humidity - 45%, cool them for 15 minutes one time per day. (Turn off the incubator and open the lid)

Since 16th day cool them for 30 minutes in the morning and evening.

Since 19th day temperature is 37,2 C, humidity - 60%, do not rotate and do not cool them.

On the 20th day humidity is increased to 70% and wait for the hatching.

On the 20th day the first egg cracked...

While the chicks hatching we sprayed warm water. Do not help anyone...

First hatched at 8 am...

The chick dries under the lamp...

The chicks were put in a cardboard box, we laid disposable diaper and light lamp 40 watt day and night all 15 days...

20 chicks hatched from 30 eggs...
Hatching of chicks lasted for 2 days...

Specialized feed for chicks... They like it...

Chicks are growing...

They moved into a special chicken coop for chicks...

Chicks are 1 month old...

Chicken coop view from outside...

At night you can close the door. The outside temperature is +28 C in the daytime, at night +14 C.

  2. Cute chicks! :)
That's the first time I see an incubator. By the way, why are there letter 'B' on those eggs?
